I offer all of my services on a sliding scale. The sliding scale model is an economic justice tool where the amount you pay is based on your financial situation. I want to live in a world where resources are shared more fairly. My sliding scale model invites you to pay what you can comfortably afford. I do not require you to provide any ‘proof’; I ask that you honestly consider what is sustainable for you. This kind of pay structure is not common, and it might feel a bit awkward. That’s ok! Doula care is all about learning to assess our needs, voice our boundaries, and try something brave.

No one fits perfectly into one category or identifies with every statement. Choose the level that best suits your situation.

Everyone receives the same services and quality of care, no matter what they pay.

This model is an expanded version of the Green Bottle Method developed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk

It is my belief that everyone should have access to this kind of care. I strive to maintain a balance of personal sustainability and affordable, accessible care. Families who pay at the highest end help me provide care to families who need no-cost care.

I encourage BIPOC families seeking support from BIPOC doulas to connect with Nesting Doulas, or the Doulas for Aboriginal Families Grant Program (DAFGP). Families seeking no-cost birth support can connect with Birthing Families Foundation.

Thanks for getting in touch!

I am a white settler of Scottish/Irish/Welsh/English descent living on unceded Lekwungen territory (home to Songhees and Esquimalt nations). I acknowledge the harm caused by generations of settler colonialism on these territories, particularly the impact on family traditions and family structure. I commit to centering anti-colonialism and reproductive justice in my doula practice. I uplift Indigenous birth workers, knowledge keepers, elders, parents, and little ones who are leading the way.
