Curious how other families have benefitted from doula support? My doulamatch page and google profile also have recent reviews from families I've worked with. I encourage folks to find a doula who feels like the right fit.

"Jasmine came into our lives when we were adopting our second son. We now have two children under two, a girl and a boy. In our chaotic household Jasmine was calm compassionate, thoughtful, bring a level of care and consideration for our infant that made us feel warm and secure.Though all new families face similar challenges, families face perhaps unique ones Jasmine was very attuned to those and helpful in that regard. I would highly recommend Jasmine as a tool for you and your family."

Jasmine is a white woman wearing a green medical mask. She is cradling a newborn baby wrapped in a swaddle.

Having Jasmine support us during the postpartum period made a world of difference. Her calm, supportive presence helped us feel more confident and cared for as we adjusted to life with a newborn. She assisted with everything from cleaning bottles and keeping our space organized to showing us how to bathe and wear our baby. Her nursing support was gentle, informed, and incredibly reassuring during a time that felt overwhelming. We’re so grateful for her care and guidance—she truly became an essential part of our early parenting journey.

I am so glad we hired Jasmine to support our trans and queer family in welcoming our second reciprocal IVF baby. I really appreciated Jasmine's approach to postpartum planning, and holistic approach to the perinatal experience, drawing on both evidence-informed resources and complimentary therapies and ways of knowing. I felt held, heard, valued and supported throughout my experience.

"Jasmine was the perfect doula! She came highly recommended from friends and lived up to every expectation we had (surpassing many!). Our baby struggled to latch for the first eight weeks and Jasmine was on hand - both in person and over the phone - to offer support, advice, and words of encouragement. Breastfeeding was so much harder than we could have imagined and Jasmine helped keep us sane on a very long and complicated journey. If you’re looking for thoughtful and caring lactation support, you need Jasmine in your corner."

Jasmine was really helpful for me in helping define my role postpartum. She also gave my wife and I great advice on how to survive as a family, with practical tools and ideas. Her knowledge and experience comes through, and was really calming for us as we had our first baby. The ability to be able to sleep and know someone who loves children was helping the household was amazing.

Thanks for getting in touch!

I am a white settler of Scottish/Irish/Welsh/English descent living on unceded Lekwungen territory (home to Songhees and Esquimalt nations). I acknowledge the harm caused by generations of settler colonialism on these territories, particularly the impact on family traditions and family structure. I commit to centering anti-colonialism and reproductive justice in my doula practice. I uplift Indigenous birth workers, knowledge keepers, elders, parents, and little ones who are leading the way.
