Let’s work together to help your feeding relationship feel sustainable and satisfying! My approach to feeding support is to meet you where you’re at, orient to your hopes, and create realistic plans together. My support is informed by my work as a postpartum doula, understanding your feeding journey in the broader context of your perinatal experience. I bring skills and enthusiasm for all types of feeding.

My scope of care:

  • Prenatal consultation and education

  • Common early feeding concerns, including latching, positioning, waking a sleepy baby, milk supply, and weight gain

  • Pumping

  • Alternative feeding tools, including finger-feeding, SNS, bottle, and cup feeding

  • Formula feeding

  • Assessment of whether other practitioners may be helpful, such as bodywork, tongue tie specialist, IBCLC, or breastfeeding medicine doctor

  • Interpreting and applying recommendations from other professionals â€‹

My work can accompany care from public health nurses, midwives, IBCLCs, and breastfeeding medicine doctors. As a queer person, I am particularly passionate & informed about inducing lactation, co-feeding, nursing after surgery, and inclusive feeding language.

Thanks for getting in touch!

I am a white settler of Scottish/Irish/Welsh/English descent living on unceded Lekwungen territory (home to Songhees and Esquimalt nations). I acknowledge the harm caused by generations of settler colonialism on these territories, particularly the impact on family traditions and family structure. I commit to centering anti-colonialism and reproductive justice in my doula practice. I uplift Indigenous birth workers, knowledge keepers, elders, parents, and little ones who are leading the way.
